mooglesatdawn- Drividot is about to do something stupid. Krile does not think this is a good idea.
So thinking that a good setting for this would be Limsa Lominsa. The scenario is basically like that Robin Hood tale where the Sheriff and Guy put on an archery contest to try and catch Robin, and it's a trap, and it's an obvious trap, and all the Merry Men tell Robin "this is an incredibly obvious trap and you will be trapped because it's a trap" and Robin's response is basically "yeah but consider this: I really want people to see how good I am at archery"
So like that, only with fashion, because Drividot is an absolute popinjay.
The people after him are (??? insert dudes he's pissed off in his capacity as warrior o' light) and possibly they have retained a bunch of (legitimately fashion-conscious, at least) brigands to nab him and bring him back to their lair to have a bad time. So they put on a fashion contest with strangely short notice, having a pretty fair idea that Drividot wouldn't be able to resist.
Jandelaine might be involved somehow.
